Tarryn and Pierre. You deal with the people doing the work — not an account manager who then “briefs the team”. We live in South Africa, we answer WhatsApp, and we will tell you if a previous developer left you with a mess that is cheaper to replace than to keep.

- What is an AI employee?
- An AI employee is custom software we build to do a real job in your business — answering WhatsApp, chasing invoices, confirming bookings — rather than a chatbot widget on a website. You stay in charge of what it is allowed to do.
- What does Blom Studio actually make?
- Blom Studio builds AI employees, websites, apps and automations for South African owner-operated businesses, then stays for care if you want it. It is quoted work, not a productised package.
- Do I own the website?
- Yes. On a Blom Studio build, you own the site we make for you. That is different from Mahala Websites, where the site stays on a monthly licence.
- How much does it cost?
- We quote after we understand the work. There are no prices on this site because the work is not a product — a pottery-studio admin app is not the same job as a five-page brochure.
- Are you an agency?
- No. Blom Studio is Tarryn and Pierre, a husband-and-wife team of two developers. You deal with the people doing the work.
- What if I just need a cheap website?
- If you want a free South African site on a monthly licence, that is Mahala Websites. If you want a paid site in 24 hours, that is Website in 24 Hours. Blom Studio is quoted, custom work.
- Do you do social media?
- No. Done-for-you social is Socially Sorted, a separate studio. We will send you there rather than pretend we run your Instagram.
- Do you train whole companies on AI?
- Not here. AI training, audits and rollouts for companies of roughly 50–500 people live at BlueBloom. Blom Studio builds the thing for the operator who needs it working.
- Where are you based?
- South Africa. We work with businesses here first; WhatsApp and a calendar slot are how most of them start.
